Comment: “The speakers are working out great and I have enclosed a shot of them at work on the latest Grinderman album sessions. It is a band fronted by Nick Cave and fellow Bad Seed Warren Ellis recorded at a great studio in Richmond, London called State of the Ark.
I am using them for editing on my DAW and also for listening to my mixes on all my projects. I find their response and sound crucial for today's listening environment.”

Comment: "Listening to your music through different speakers is fundamental to ensuring your product is heard at its optimum in all situations. We master our music to ensure this happens. Reminiscent of the Auratone mono speaker system used in the 60's and 70's for doing exactly that,  Grover Notting has courageously  bridged the gap for the mastering/mix engineer. Now we can confidently determine how our mix is going to sound from flat panel TV’s to large ghetto blasters, I’m sold!"

Name: Phil Manning
Organization: Tamborine Music
Location: Seddon, Vic.
Australia History: It is impossible to talk about blues music in Australia without Phil Manning being mentioned in the first sentence. Since the late 60’s Phil has been at the forefront of this genre as well as exploring other styles widely. His ability to absorb other styles and craft them to suit his personality has made him one of the truly unique performers of his time.

A founder & continuing member of the now legendary ‘Chain’, Phil Manning has long been regarded as the most effective blues guitarist produced in this country as well as a fine session player.
As a solo performer in the acoustic sphere, Phil has also been ahead of the game as one of the first electric gunslingers to begin working in both realms before ‘unplugged’ became the catch phrase.
As well as headlining his own shows he has toured with a remarkable number of artists including Muddy Waters, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee, Albert Collins, Freddie King and dozens of others to the most recent Doobie Brothers Down Under Tour this year.

His latest CD ‘The Essential Acoustic Collection’ on Blackmarket Music, features titles from some of his previous albums, and is a powerful and compelling statement about the depth of his music, his songs and the quality of his guitar and vocal performance.

“…an Australian national treasure…can play the hell out of an acoustic instrument so good that it leaves you breathless…”
– Folk Roots magazine, U.K.
